Speaking of The Gattai, does anyone else have this strange issue?

While flipping out Thunder Jet's front landing gear the hinge gets stuck at this angle and the only way to proceed is to both slowly work it forwards and pull it outwards from the axis (with quite a lot of force, I might add). This didn't happen the first few times I've transformed this guy and doesn't seem to be a feature in the instructions. It kind of feels like the material has worn out somewhere and turned the hinge into some kind of messed up slider. Looking at the hinge from the bottom there's a bit of shaved-off plastic bits and some stress marks. The worst part is that the nosecone is glued together so I have no way of checking the inside.

How difficult is it to preorder on Good Smile Company’s Website? Is it no different from ordering at HLJ?

Just set up an account and order. No extra hoops. They have a US/English site for international orders, so you don't have to go through a middle-man or anything.

The deadline date for pre-ordering is May 8th. It's unfortunate that this is a GSC exclusive.

Can't fully blame them, Thunder Gridman went on clearance everywhere so they decided to play it safe with this release.

Working my way through the Dyna Diver, and looking at the only painted sample pictures in the construction manual, find a spot to paint I missed.

The underside of the waist is supposed to be red like the rest of the underbelly of the submarine mode.

Five minutes to prime, another ten minutes to paint and I'm done.

Accent liner cleaned up the edges.. now back to building.

Feet were done the other night, see my last post in the Moderoid thread. letting cement and paint dry on the missile covers and the little detailing bits before I attach them.

I made the mistake and painted the wrong sides of the short fins that peg into the thighs.

So they're soaking in a pot of Super Clean degreaser to strip the acrylic to repaint them properly.

I’ve never ordered from them. Does anyone know if Good Smile charges at the time of order or at the time of shipping?

Dyna Diver is finished and I polished up the paint on Dyna Wing.

The painted bits and now it's time to assemble the rest of the arms.

Credit to their dedication to both anime proportions for making the bare arms and the shell for added bulk for its car mode.

I want to accent wash the tires before I attach the wheels.

Dyna Striker is done and now all that is left to finish is the Dyna Soldier. Also the additional hands.

Without the Spoilers or hands, this is all that make up the arms for Dynazenon.

Attaching the car body outer shell fills in the gaps makes the vehicle form more complete.

Split down the middle and arranged with the other two for their key positions.

Evolution Toy is so far behind that they still misspell the characters' names in official material. That's actually impressive, in a way.
